The Dhikala Zone is one of the major attractions of the corbett national park which remains populated with tourists throughout the year. Jungle Safaris:
Jim Corbett National Park is not only famous for its rich flora and fauna but also for providing the best safari experiences to visitors. The dhikala zone offers all three types of safaris, namely jeep safari, elephant safari, and canter safari. Tourists visiting the national park with their friends and family usually choose the jeep safari as it offers more seats. However, selecting an elephant safari allows the visitors to discover the paths deep inside the forests and spot the wild animals in their natural habitat.
The Chaurs or Grasslands:
The vast grasslands are yet another attraction of the famous attraction of Dhikala Zone. Visiting the grasslands will provide you the opportunity to watch them packed with elephants, deers, sambar, hog deers, different species of birds, etc. Though a rare sight, sometimes tourists can spot a tiger chasing a deer or its prey across the grasslands.
Watch Tower:
The watch tower located in the Dhikala zone is the perfect spot and allows you to explore an excellent view of the wildlife and birds that come grazing on the chaurs. The National Park is divided into five significant safari zones. Nonetheless, the Dhikala Zone is the most preferred and visited one. Whenever you plan on visiting the national park, make sure you know about the rules and regulations of the park and carry your permits. Bookings for the Corbett National Park must be done previously as finding a vacancy can be difficult after reaching the destination, which might lead to a chaotic situation.
